Bryant enters MIT Sloan School of Management (1969)

Takes Economics class from Dr. Lester Thurow (Nobel Laureate)

Completes M.S. thesis with Malcolm Jones and Tony Gorry on a PL/I based simulation language that runs under MULTICS

Meets Shirley Jackson, then a physics Ph.D. student at MIT, and now president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)

Continues to work full time at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company (1969 - 1971)

Plays in side games of the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) National Championships in Boston, 1970. Wins Level B side game.

Becomes legally separated from Dianne Scott York in January 1970

Bryant graduates MIT Sloan School earning M.S. in management (1971)

Works as a financial analyst at Travelers Equity Sales, Inc.

Works for Dr. Edward Riseman and Dr. Allen Hanson on the VISIONS project

Teaches a mathematics course to inmates at the Pittsfield State Prison as part of the UMASS University Without Walls Program (1975)

Joins Association for Computing Machinery (1975)

Daughters, Monica and Portia, (2 Black Children) are force-bused out of a mixed school and four Black children are forced-bused in to replace them (Boston, 1975)

Becomes divorced from Margrete Miner in October 1984

Attends ICOT Fifth Generation Computing Conference, Tokyo, Japan (November 1984). Bryant's former professor, Dr. Hironaka (Fields Medal Winner) gives keynote address.

Gets Magic Johnson's autograph in July 1985
